About SISTER2sister:
The Life Changing Experiences Foundation (LCEF) was established in Sydney 18 years ago, to provide guidance, education, mentoring and a safe-haven for vulnerable or disadvantaged teenage girls. The flagship program for LCEF is SISTER2sister and assists these young women by equipping them with crucial survival and life skills, the resilience to overcome challenges, and an environment fostering self-worth. LCEF works with school counsellors, youth workers, Community Service caseworkers, welfare agencies and police to identify girls in greatest need of education, support and guidance. LCEF recruits, screens and trains successful female volunteer mentors (Big Sisters) to support the Little Sisters and empower them to make positive choices for a better future.
