Forget Florals, This is the Trendiest Shade for Spring 2025

We're adding some depth to spring
Hey, Chocolate
Spring usually calls for the obvious… blushes, soft greens, pale blues. But this season, we wanted to do something different, something that adds depth to your spring bedding refresh.
And after months of planning and prepping, we finally had it. A colour that wasn’t too heavy, too wintery, or too deep. It brought the fresh feel of spring, while being a standout shade. Enter Chocolate.
“It had to be the right kind of brown,” says Lauren, our founder. “Not heavy or anything that felt like autumn, but something that still moved with the lightness of spring. That balance took months to get right.”

Finding the Right Brown
The search wasn’t quick. Swatch after swatch was tested, washed, held up to the sun, the moon, and everything in between. Most shades felt too dark, too cold, or too flat.
“Brown can so easily read as heavy,” Lauren explains. “But the more I played with it, the more I realised it could actually feel incredibly fresh, if it was tuned just right. When I saw this final shade against linen’s natural texture, I just knew. It felt confident, but not overpowering. A colour you could live with, morning to night.”

A Colour Born from Spring Itself
Chocolate isn’t about nostalgia or winter warmth. It’s inspired by the in-between moments of spring, the stillness of slow mornings, the warmth of sunlit decks, and the comfort of a home that feels lived in.
“This colour isn’t trying too hard,” Lauren says. “It’s effortless. It brings this quiet elegance to a space that feels really needed right now, especially as we go into spring.”
“Spring is always about light and colour, but I wanted to show that depth can feel just as alive. It’s not about weight, it’s about grounding.”
- Lauren, Founder
For some, the idea of a deep brown in spring might feel unexpected. And that’s the point. Chocolate anchors a room, giving it depth without losing freshness. It pairs naturally with soft pinks and greens, but it also holds its own with warm neutrals.

Why Chocolate Matters
In a world of fleeting colour trends, Chocolate feels like an antidote. It’s considered. It’s designed to last. And, most importantly, it was created with the same attention Lauren gives to her own home.
“This was never about chasing a trend,” she says. “It was about creating a shade I wanted to see in my bedroom this spring.”
So maybe it’s time to let go of the expected pastels. This spring, depth is the new freshness.
Chocolate in 100% French flax linen is now part of our collection, made to soften, age beautifully, and become a key part of your home.
