Q 1 | How would you describe your interior style?

"My style is slow and considered, taking time to fill my home with unique pieces. Our home has the beautiful bones of a 1920's Queenslander and we tried so hard to renovate in a way that rang true to those heritage features, maintaining a balance between old and new. I’m inspired by Athena Calderone and other creatives on @theexpert page."

Q 2 | What is your favourite nook in your home?

"We have a wall of casement windows and a beautiful bench seat, made by my darling husband, that leads into our living room. The light that pours in is quite magical and I often find myself drawn to working, or playing with my son there. I find natural light does a world of good and is a nice way to spend the day."

Q 3 | Describe your favourite I Love Linen pieces?

"I am entirely in love with my I Love Linen bedding. I love the thoughtful tie details at the base. The sheets are so soft, the quality is beautiful and I know they can be washed again and again, and still be as beautiful as day one."

"I’m also living in my Ruby Set. It’s so comfortable, and a perfect piece to transition from working in my studio to heading out for the afternoon. I'm loving that I can mix & match, and wear it with things I already own."

Q 4 | What makes you feel most at home?

"Having a space to call our own, to make memories, to grow and learn and share with each other. We spent almost all of last year working and living with family, which was an absolute blessing. Though, it’s made a world of difference to finally have a home that we love to ourselves."

Q 5 | What charity would you like to choose and why?

"We have chosen Injalak Arts and Crafts Association. They are a non-profit Aboriginal-owned organisation focusing on cultural maintenance and economic self-determination. They work to support and enrich the artistic and cultural lives of traditional Aboriginal artists living in remote communities. Injalak Arts have over 200 artists and weavers from Gunbalanya and surrounding outstations."
