What is thread count and does it matter?

Yes it is important! The higher the thread count, the more cotton in your sheets. Your standard set of sheets will be around 250 thread count.

More cotton means higher quality, stronger, and a longer lasting investment for your bed.

We care about your linen - here's how you can care about it too:

1. Wash prior to first use
2. Launder whites and colours separately
3. Warm hand or machine wash on a gentle cycle
4. Do not rub, soak, wring or bleach (unless they're white, and only very infrequently and using small doses of bleach)
5. Best to line dry. You can tumble dry in winter but to make your linen last longer air drying is always best.
